Did I make good? I suppose that is subjective. It is considerably larger now, and it has a prologue. But only one new chapter. Yet I am hardly upset. According to my clock, it is 4:15 AM on Tuesday, 1 January 2008. I am not tired, though I just now finished the prologue. It seems ironic to me that it should be the last thing I write...
